Thursday, October 14 - Hollywood

 

It started raining this morning and it continued all day.

We picked up Sondra around 11am and we drove to Perryville, MD to the new Hollywood Casino.

I was very surprised that it was small.

We were all hungry so food was 1st on the agenda. Of course they had a a buffet. The cost was $14.94 for lunch which we thought was too high. 

So we decided to go to the snack bar for a sandwich. Certainly not the best I have had but okay.

Then we split up to gamble. Long story short..Sondra won, while both Jesse and I lost. We had fun, but left without our money.

Jesse drove us expertly in the rain back to Marilyn house. She asked him to install a towel rack, tp holder and two hooks in her new remolded bathroom.

Afterwards we took Sondra home collected the boys (who were hanging out in Sondra kitchen) and went home. The rain had stopped by then and the sun even came out for a few minutes.

We had leftover Chinese food for dinner and watched TV.

Wednesday, October 13 - Errands and Shopping

 

Today we were dressed and out before lunch. We went to the Fredrick Mall. Our 1st stop was Subway for some lunch.

Then Jesse wandered while I got my nails done. He is always so good about taking me and being patient.

He was there when I was ready to leave so we wandered around the mall. I wanted a new outfit, but really didn't see anything I wanted to spending my money on.

We stopped and Dairy Queen, Jesse wanted a Blizzard and I got 3 chocolate chip cookies.

On the way out we had to go through JC Penney, and I saw a sale. I was very excited to be able to find some nice tops for $3.17...What a bargain!

Our next stop was the bank to get money, then Pet Smart for dog food.

Last stop was Super Walmart to pick up a few items.

Back home we did out usual relaxing.

Tuesday, October 12 - Ditto Day of Yesterday

I stayed home all day and did little, computered, more laundry and watched TV. Therefore, not much to write about.

Jesse went out in the morning to take his suit to the cleaners. We brought us back bacon and egg bagel and donuts from Dunkin Donuts.

We discussed in detail what we were doing when we leave here. We are leaving on Sunday 17th and heading to Cincinnati, Ohio.

Most of you know that we have been looking for a new rig. We believe we have found what we want there, so we are detouring there to check them out, wish us luck.

Jesse also went out in the evening to get dinner, he wanted Chinese.

We continued to watch TV throughout the evening and relax.
