Another Pre-Rally day, it rained most of the day.
We did our usual morning routine. About 10:30 Linda and I when into town to run errands and go to the grocery store. We were very lucky that the rain waited until we got back.
When we got back Jesse and I hung out at home. I had a headache so we just sat listening to the rain on the roof of the Kram-a-lot. A while later we decided to take a ride into town. We loaded the boys in the truck and off we went.
When we drove past H&L's rig we saw that the big tent was going up.
We had been in Branson about 20 years ago and we both thought that the main road looked very much the same…Lots of traffic..newer shops...lots of traffic.
We saw a store that sold frozen custard and decided to stopped. Jesse got a lesson on custard making. He learned that “good custard” is dipped not dispensed from a machine. I am not sure if I have had custard before, but this was delicious.
When we got back from town we hung out at home again, until Howard came knocking at the door inviting as to gather under the tent and visit. So in the rain we took our chairs and went to the big top. There was quite a crowd, but no one stayed for very long, as it was dinner time. Most seem to pair off and head to dinner somewhere.
We went back to the rig and just hung out for the rest of the evening.
Tomorrow promises to be a hot-humid day.
See you down the road.
