Today we were up at 6:30 to get ready to leave at 8:30. We went on a tour of an Aloe Farm. It was all quite interesting and a fun day.
It started at the entertaining area where we were explained the back ground of the family and company.
Then we were loaded on to a tractor for a tour of the farm.
We learned how to harvest the aloe plant and many of it uses. You cut the outer leaves and then you fillet it to get a “Aloe fillet”.
You cut away on side and discard back into the field.
Cutting the sides that have the cactus like points
Then you cut away the other side
And you have an aloe fillet
They also grow oranges and we were able to pick one off the tree and eat it. Jesse wanted a specific orange that he wanted me to pick.
After this we went to the gift shop and were then served lunch in the entertainment room.
It was a full morning and great fun being with our friends.
After we got back to the park, we went to welcome our friends Gordon and Juanita “home” with their new RV.
Dan came over to help me put together my clothes line and it looks wonderful!!! Thank you Dan for all your help.

I see they got a Carri-lite. I could not tell what model it was. I hope they have some pictures on their journal tonight.
