Tuesday, May 3 - Impromptu after work gathering (CO, CO)

 

I went into work at 9am and worked until noon. Again I answered phones and make reservations feeling much more confidence in my ability to do so.

As I was leaving I twisted my foot on the edge of the concrete and fell into the rocks right in front of the UPS delivery man..embarrassing.  

I skinned my leg, and I am sure it will bruise but I was okay, no blood.

I returned home and Jesse came in shorty after for lunch. After lunch was finished he went back to work and I drove to the Springs. I got a Mani/Pedi and then on to Safeway for a few items.

When I returned around 4PM I fed the boys, walked them then put out the awing and sat there on the patio with a glass of wine. Jackie and Gucci came over to sit with me and the boys.

Our men worked a little later today finishing the storage shed they were painting, then they joined us on the patio with a canned liquid beverage. Our neighbor Alan also joined us.

After a couple beverages we all split up to our separate homes. I warmed the pasta bake I made the other day for our dinner while Jesse took a shower.

All of a sudden the boys were barking at the door  ……. this is what the were barking at:

She just continued eating the green grass that was coming up through the rock not concerned about us at all.

After we had our dinner I started to be very stiff and soar. I am sure it was from my fall.

Jesse was feeling very tired, so we didn’t do our dishes. That is not like me to leave dirty dishes in the sink, but I have off tomorrow and we both were just tired, so I will get them done tomorrow.

We watched TV until bedtime.
