We all were up early this morning so we left at 7am.
We traveled north US 191 to the Canadian Border. The road was good traveling.
The border crossing guard was really nice. He asked a few questions and asked for our passports. Then he walked into the RV for about 2 minutes and then wished us a good visit and sent us on our way.
Then we traveled on Hwy 4 and the road was totally deteriorated. Once we reached the town of Cadallic the road was 95% better until we reached Swift Current, then it was bad again.
We pulled into the Pondarosa RV Park and were greeted by Bella who was very friendly and sweet.
We are parked side by side.
We were just relaxing when Trent called and said come over. So we loaded up and drove over to their beautiful townhouse.
Teresa hadn’t gotten off work yet so we sat and visited with Trent. He gave us the tour of their townhouse with the new paint that was beautiful….Good job Trent!!!!
After hugs Teresa served us appetizers of crab dip and shrimp cocktail. Then we had dinner: salad, chicken and twice baked potatoes. Everything was delicious, just yummy!
Our beautiful hostess.
After dinner dishes were cleaned up, Trent put the prerecorded Survivor finale on for us all to enjoy. (We only get one station over the air at campground).
Dessert was coconut cream pie (from the restaurant where she works). Jesse said it was the best he has ever had.
We had a great evening, they are just a joy to be around. We look forward to lunch with them tomorrow.
Go to Bob and Janet’s blog for their view of today’s events.
