Yesterday, Sunday, started with fog and 51 degrees. It was suppose to warm up to 70 but I don’t think it ever got there. We had no plans and mostly just hung out at home.
At 3:30 everyone was invited to Kathy and Elgin’s for cocktails. Our host and hostess.
She prepared the food and everything we tried was delicious.
It was too cold to sit for long so things ended after about 1 hour.
Today we drove with Ed and Marilyn to Los Ebanos to take the ferry across to Mexico on our bikes.
Now I was not too enthusiastic about doing this today. It was very humid and misting on the drive there, it was a very bad hair day, but I was trying to keep an open mind.
Down hill to the ferry
On the ferry crossing the Rio Grand
We arrived and road our bikes to the town square. Here is the group, there were 13 of us. Carl, Heinz, Irene, Marilyn, Roger, Joyce, Pat, Ginger, Sue, Ted, Dan and Jesse, Ed was taking the picture.
We rode around the town, the people were very excited to see us and they all would great us with smiles, and waves.
Here is where we had lunch
Lunch was very tasty and everyone enjoyed the rest from pedaling the bikes.
We pedaled about 61/2 miles.
After lunch we pedaled back to the ferry and then back over to the USA. I got a shower as soon as we returned to the RV and just relaxed for the rest of the evening.
