Tuesday, October 7th - Beth's Birthday

Happy Birthday Beth !!!!

We love you very much and hope you have a GREAT day!

Yesterday was a busy day for us. Jesse had his appointment for the MRI at noon. Once the paperwork was filled out they took him back. Within a few minutes he was back saying “I couldn’t do it”. He is in so much pain that he couldn’t lay flat on the table for 1 minute and they needed him to do this for about 20 minutes.

We have re-scheduled it for tomorrow Wednesday at 2:15 and he will be sedated for the procedure. Jesse is in bad shape right now. He is not sleeping well because he can’t be still for more than a few minutes at a time, the pain wakes him up. He can’t stand or walk for more than a few minutes at a time.

After the failed attempt we drove to Colorado Springs to Car Max to see what they would give us for our Ford Explorer. We thought that they may give us more then we could get at the auction, but we found that not to be the case. Therefore we are going to have the Explorer auctioned off with a reserve amount attached to it.

After we were done with that we went to Panera Bread for some Linner. This is one of our favorite places to eat light meals. We both had a sandwich and a cup of soup and mine was yummy. Jesse didn’t like his soup, but his sandwich was very good.

Once we left the Springs we went to Wal*Mart for some groceries. Jesse waited in the car while I did the shopping for the few things we needed. After we got home he was exhausted. He lay on the sofa and napped for a while.

I had printed a “Blue Book” value on the Explorer and Mike the auctioneer came by to get that and take pictures for the auction advertising.

I made a meat loaf for tomorrow night’s dinner and the leftovers will be good for Jesse’s lunch. We relaxed; Jesse napped most of the night and watched TV until time for bed.
Hope to see ya down the road

Gosh Jesse...I am so sorry that you are down in the back. I have suffered with old war wounds for years and I understand what it is like not able to get comfortable. I do hope that you get to feeling better soon. Maybe once you get on the road and as far away from work as possible you will begin to heal.

Get better soon

You know, it may not be a good idea sellng the house if Jesse has to get operated on?
