Today were were up and out early today. I had to have more blood drawn, and I needed to fast, so I wanted to go early.
We dropped Ryan and Kacie off at school at 7:35 then went on to the lab.
From there we went to Crackle Barrel for breakfast. Then we drove to One Ton where I use to work so Jesse could talk to the guys about welding a hitch on the front for a bike rack. We made an appointment to have them do that on Tuesday.
Our plan is to leave Boone on Sunday before it rains again. We will camp in Pueblo West at a campground and leave on Tuesday or Wednesday.
We will be heading to Shawnee, Oklahoma to visit my nephew and his family for a few days. Then we are going to Columbus, Texas to visit with Jim and Joanne (friends and co-workers from LGE) for a few days. Then on to RGV. Our reservation for RGV starts on the 21st.
After our visit to One Ton we went shopping at our favorite Super Walmart in Pueblo West. After finishing we went back to the Kram-a-lot to put the groceries away and get the boys.
We all left to drive to pick up Colt. He had been staying with DJ’s Mom in Eads, CO. and our meeting place was in Ordway.
We past Fowler and I took this picture of the old train station.
The next small town we past was Crowley, this is how they welcome you.
While waiting for Eunice, DJ’s Mom, to get there we saw this “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” :~)
Colt was very mellow on the drive back to the house, but seemed glad to be home.
I made dinner for everyone a pasta dish with a garden salad. We relaxed for the evening until bed time.
