Fun, Fun Fun!!

Fun, Fun Fun!!

Thursday, September 9 – Finally!! A Travel Day

We went out to dinner with Jim and Joanne last night. It was a good time as usual and the meal was okay too.

We said our good-byes to the gang who were gathered at Greg and Betty’s and then went home to watch Big Brother.

We got up this morning to a light rain, so we took our time getting ready to leave. We were in no hurry as we didn’t have far to go.

We pulled out of the campground about 11am. As we drove you could see that the trees were just starting to change colors.

We drove 122 miles to Alburg RV Resort in Alburg, Vermont which is a new state for us.

We got all set up on site 31, it was 3:00. We realized we were hungry all we had was a donut on the drive.

I planned to make a chicken taco salad, only I needed chips and tomatoes. We passed a convenience store on the way so I drove back and purchased a bag of nacho chips and on the counter was a small bag of home grown tomatoes.

Our dinner was very good if I may say so myself. I am in the process of baking a pineapple dump cake for desert.

We will just relax and watch TV for the rest of the day.

Tomorrow we plan to explore the area. It’s good to be free again!!

It's fun starting out and learning a job, but by the end of it you are ready for freedom! Enjoy Vermont!
