I haven’t blogged in some time, I just haven’t felt like writing.
We have been doing lots of things with friends that have come to visit.
Of course we had Bob and Janet visit for two weeks. We had such a good time with them we can hardly wait to see them again at Mountaindale in June.
We spent a fun day at the Valley of Fire.
Nevada’s 1st State Park
Lots of red rocks
Wild life in the park
Camp ground had some nice sites.
After a day at the park we drove to Mesquite to have some food and found this place that was wonderful. We all got chicken fajita’s that were delicious.
We also went back to the strip one night to see the lights in the dark. We walked and walked trying to see as much as we could.
We finally sat down to take a tram. It was all too short then more walking.
The dancing waters
Even with all the walking it was a fun night.
We have had visitors from Georgia and Chicago. Rich who introduced Jesse and I and was the best man at our wedding and his son Craig came for a long weekend. Mostly to play golf but we were able to spend some time with them.
We also had a visit from Trent and Teresa. They came for only one night. They were on their way back home to Canada. I had some burgers ready for them when they arrived and we spent the evening getting caught up.
I have spent as much time as possible with Carolee. Just hanging out, sewing, shopping and of course eating.
FUN – FUN – FUN!!
We spent Easter with her and the family and had a wonderful meal and a fun time. I forgot my camera so I couldn’t show you pictures of the children hunting eggs..Take my word for it they had a blast!
Our last day of work was this past Sunday and we will be leaving Las Vegas on Thursday the 11th.
We will head to Williams, AZ for a few nights to visit the Grand Canyon and Sedona while there.
Then to Casa Blanco, NM for one night. On to the top of Raton Pass, NM for one night. Then on to Mountaindale, CO for the summer.
We are looking forward to seeing our children and grand children!!

We will be in Creed Colorado for the summer. Had thought about coming through Mountaindale but not sure we could get in that time of the year.
