Tuesday, February 10th - Visiting

Today after our normal walking and having coffee we got dressed to go visit with Fred and Jo.

When Marilyn came to pick me up for our walk she came in to see our new chairs and sat down. Well that was an invitation for our boys to jump up in “Aunt Marilyn’s” lap.

We left about 11am and drove East to Harlingen. We 1st stopped at a dollar store to look for doggie bags. They had some that were 40 bags in a box. They are much thinner bags then what we usually purchase, but we think they will do the dirty job. We bought 10 boxes which should last us almost 2 months.

We then went to the bank before going to Tropic Winds Resort to spend some time with the Wishnies.

We arrived and got caught up on what has been going on with each other since our last visit. Since they only have their two rocker recliners they have purchased some new furniture to store things in. It looks very good and comfortable for their needs.

We went to Longhorn Cattle Company and had a very good BBQ lunch. The one thing we noticed we thought different, they serve iced tea in big plastic pitchers. I forgot the camera, sorry no pictures, but we had lots of conversation, fun and good food, what more can you ask for.

After we ate we went back to their home on wheels for more talk and playing with Boo Boo. I have lots of pictures of her from previous journals.

After we said “see ya down the road” with hugs and handshakes we went home to our boys. We walked them down to Juanita's to bid her a good trip home to visit family. While we were leaving, Ed popped out to invite us for a drink on his patio.

We sat and visited until the wind was just too much for us. We said goodnight – checked our mail and went home for the night.

Life is so good – having more friends then we have ever had since school days, who could ask for anything more.

Hugs to all!!!

You know you are right! We have never had these many friends!! Not even in High School did we have these many! We have been so busy with our children and our family that friends were hard to make. We love all of you guys and we can't wait to meet up again and visit.
