When we found Friday that H&L were so close to us I gave Linda a call to see if they were up to us visiting them today.
Of course Linda said yes.
When we got there Howard was washing down the Cambridge and Linda was defrosting the freezer. Howard stopped and came in to visit.
We made plans to have a lite lunch at their place. I made a pasta salad and Linda made a green salad. It was perfect and I brought fresh strawberries for dessert.
After we ate we decided to go outside and visit. It was a beautiful day outside, slightly cloudy, but warm. While we were there the owner of their campground came by and sat with us and told the story of how he got started having “overnighters” 50 years ago. It was a great story.
We took the boys with us so we put them in their kennel to be outside .
It was very nice to have some one on one time with these special people. We will see them on Monday when we arrive at Willow Tree Resort for the rally, but they will be busy.
After retuning home we just watched TV and computered trying to get a high score on Bejeweled, but it didn’t happen.
