BEAUTIFUL WEATHER DAY!!

Today was a busy day. We took and carriage tour of Charleston. The barn we left from. Jesse was getting schooled by the animal handler. All the horses and mules were retired from the Amish in Pennsylvania. Pulling the carriages around was much easier for them then plowing fields.

Our tour guide was Pete who is from Pennsylvania.

They run 3 different routes for the tours, ours was route 2. We saw many, many houses and again I can not remember all the history he told us, but here are a few pictures.

I was very impressed by all the iron works, wouldn’t want to climb this first fence.
