Wednesday, April 7 – 1st Day of 2010 RV-Dreams Rally

 

Things for us started just around noon. We checked-in and paid for our new 2010 RV-Dreams Tee Shirt

Jesse took our stuff home while I stayed behind with Anita, Howards Mom, to teach tee shirt braiding in the meeting room.

 

 

After a short while Jesse was bored, so he went over to site #1 Cindy and Ken’s along with some other guys to solve the problems of the world.

Anita and I had ladies arriving all day to learn how to braid tee shirts. It was fun having some quite time to get to know people better.

Then around 2:30pm Jesse comes in to the meeting room wanting to know “Who is going to feed me”. Well the ladies got a real big kick out of that one. He says he was really concerned about me eating something. (Do you believe that one?)

So we walked back to our rig and I made us each a sandwich while Jesse walked the boys. 

We returned to the meeting room for dinner around 5:45.

Linda started us off by playing “Me and my Gang” the Rascal Flatts song, which was the theme of our first Rally in 2008.

Dinner was buffet style and was very good. They served, rice with chicken, pulled pork BBQ, cold slaw, potato salad, baked beans, roll and peach cobbler for dessert.

After dinner and introductions H&L gave us an overview of what to expect from the rally. We were very surprised to find about 50% of the group were not fulltimers.

Then we played a game (RV-Dreams Trivia). The table that Jesse and I were at scored 22 out of 25.. Howard called us stalkers, or we really pay attention. It was really kind of scary to know so much about other people.

After all the fun was over Jesse and I came home and just watched TV until bed time.
