Sunday, July 20 - Travel to Valdez (Valdez, Alaska)

 

I laid in bed this morning listening to the rain. By the time we got up it had stopped raining.

We left this morning around 9am and the trip was uneventful and THEN.

We passed some really beautiful sights. Each one was more beautiful then the other.

Water Falls and Glaciers.

Don’t know the name but I was able to take a picture of the inside.

We pulled into Bayside PV Park about 12:30. We got set up had a little lunch. Then Jesse and I took showers.

I started some of the prep for dinner, then the four of us drove around the town.

We watched them clean the fish and the seagulls eat the waste.

We returned to camp and I prepared dinner of smothered turkey burgers, gravy, mashed potatoes, corn and green beans.

After dinner we watched Big Brother then went for a ride to the other side of the bay.

As we were arriving we spotted a brown bear but was unable to get pictures before he went into the woods.

They have a weir set up there and the fish were there by the thousands. So were the sea lions.
