Fun, Fun Fun!!

Fun, Fun Fun!!

Monday, January 31 - Back to Mexico

Today we were up and out of the house before 9:00 on our way to Mexico. I can’t tell you the last time we were out that early in the morning.

We have always really enjoyed sitting with our coffee and computers in the morning on the weekends in our old life. Now with our retired RV lifestyle we can do it every morning and we take full advantage of it.

It took us about 25 minutes to drive over to the parking lot. We past some RV’s boondocking in the desert.

We walked thru the gates into Mexico and straight to the place Fred told us about. They had so many to choose from it was really hard. I wanted something that had a design and also had clear glass to let the light in. This is what we decided on and I paid $60.00. I guess it’s a dove, sun and cacti.

We also stopped at a dentist office so Jesse could get his teeth cleaned. He was very pleased with the office, everyone was very professional and he said the equipment was as modern as any US dentist office he has been in. The guy that did the cleaning did a wonderful job for $35.00 cash. Design Studio, IIiana Valenzuela, 2nd St & Ave. B, corner of Alamo walkway.

Once we left Mexico we stopped by the casino for a look. Jesse left empty handed, but I left with an extra $15.00 in my pocket. Not bad for 30 minutes.

We were hungry, but couldn’t decide where to go. We settled for Foothill eatery. Jesse liked his food but I was not impress at all.

Jo had told us about this Chocolate Crafter that was in the same shopping center. We stopped by after lunch and were not disappointed. They allow you to taste anything you want and everything is really good. Thanks for the tip Jo. It anyone is in the area you should stop in, I don’t think they have a web site.

Afterward we went home to the boys.

We had grilled Jesse some Elk steaks for dinner last night and I had left overs. I also purchased a rotisserie chicken when I went to the grocery store. With the left over steak and the chicken I made steak and chicken fajitas for tonight's dinner.
