We left this morning about 9:30am and we had our shortest driving day so far.
Some sites:
Only a total of 84 miles. We drove south on Parks Highway then east on Glenn Highway to Town & Country RV Park in Palmer, AK. We paid for 7 nights @ $195.00. We plan to use this as a base to visit Anchorage, and Wasilla.
Once we got parked and set-up we washed our rigs and trucks. They both look so much better.
Afterward we just relaxed inside, Jesse watched the inside of his eye lids for about 1 1/2 hours.
I watched some TV. We have all three network stations and I even got to watch part of my soap opera.
We sat outside with a cold drink before going over the Bob and Janet‘s for dinner at 5:30.
She made fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy and corn. As in the past it was yummy. It is really nice to only be responsible for dinner every other day. I think Janet and both are enjoying our days off.
We visited for awhile then Jesse and I decided to take a drive into the town of Palmer to see what was there. I can tell you there isn’t much for sure.
It was a beautiful day with the sun shining bright, but it’s suppose to rain again tomorrow.
You can see the dark clouds coming in.
Until tomorrow have a good evening!

Oh Well, if it rains tomorrow you can have a down day and cuddle up with a good book!!
Or maybe Jesse has a better way to kill a few hours ... like napping, LOL.
Hugs, TnT
