Tuesday, June 11 - Travel to North Pole (Fairbanks, AK)

 

I took these two pictures at 11:30 pm last night. As you can see it still light out.

We left this morning heading to Fairbanks.

Some scenery along the way.

We stopped at Delta Meat & Sausage Co. 

Soon after our stop we saw a portion of the Pipeline.

Then we saw moose. We only got this one that was hiding in the bushes, but we saw 3 other ones.

Construction we ran across.

The highlight of today’s travel was visiting Santa at the North Pole. I got to sit on his lap.

I got a picture of Jesse with a moose.

Then we saw some of Santa’s Reindeer.

 

We are parked at River’s Edge RV Park and plan to be here for 4 nights.
