Fun, Fun Fun!!

Fun, Fun Fun!!

Tuesday, June 3 - Travel to Watson Lake (Watson Lake, Canada)

We left this morning at 7am in the rain. It rained the whole trip today. We stopped down the road at Coal Creek to have breakfast. It was a very small place but very nice and clean. Jesse and I shared a “Hungry Man’s Breakfast” expensive but very tasty.

We saw some buffalo along the side of the road.

We past into the Yukon Territories.

We stopped at Contact Creek Lodge to fuel up.

We saw bear 4 different time through out the day, but Jesse didn’t stop so I could get pictures. Bob and Janet  got some pictures so be sure to look at their blog.

Soon we arrived at Watson Lake

We found a camp site “parking lot” at Downtown RV Park. It had full hook-ups with WiFi and cable.

We got all set up then headed to The Sign Forest.

We each placed our sign to add to the more than 72,000 signs already there. Still raining.

The guys wanted me to post this one in honor of our friends Chuck and Colette who are from Harlingen, TX.

After we walked through the forest we went to Northern Lights Center.

They show a video on “Electric Sky” theatre screen (360 degree) on the Aurora Borealis. They also showed one about Black Holes.

Then we looked for some place to eat. We stopped at Wolf it Down Restaurant which is about 20 minutes north of Watson Lake in Nugget City.

Now we are at home. It has stopped raining but it is cool and damp.

The WiFi is not very good here so I will try to post for the last two days. If you are reading I had success!
