Today was a great weather day. It was suppose to be rainy, but the sun showed itself most of the day and the temps went into the low 70’s.
We picked up Ed and Marilyn at 10:30 and headed to the RV show. We looked at many park models they had along with 5th wheels, Class C and Class A.
We paid special attention to the Mobile Suite as that is what we really would like to have.
They also had dune buggies and Jesse really liked this one
After the show I had made reservations to meet other RV-Dreamers for lunch at Arturo’s in Weslaco. There was Ed and Marilyn - Jesse and I along with the following:
Barb and Roger
Nolan and Chuck (who actually pair up with Donna and Kathy)
We had a good time talking and telling stories, as always it was as if we had not been apart. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The service was not anything to write home about, but my food was good, even though Nolan and I never got tortillas to go with our fajitas. They ending up giving us a dessert on the house.
We said our see ya later to everyone and we all went our separate ways.
We dropped E&M at their rig and we went home to ours. We feed and walked the boys, changed clothes and walked down to Gilbert and Louise rig so Jesse could do some adjustments to Louise’s bike.
We stopped by Ed’s to see his new truck bed cover. It was starting to get cool, so I came home. Jesse walked back down to Ed’s and enjoyed a drink with Ed and Roger before he too was too cool and returned home.
It was a fine day and look forward to many more!
Hugs to all
