Fun, Fun Fun!!

Fun, Fun Fun!!

Thursday, January 7 – Mexico Trip

Yesterday was guys day out.

I started to make crust less chicken pot pie for dinner while Jesse, on his bike, left to meet the guys at the pool hall. I guess it was just Roger, Ed, Heinz and Jesse.

I made our dinner then sat down to watch a movie on TV. The weather had started to get nice, the sun came out and the temps were in the high 60’s.

I decided to go down and see what Marilyn was up to. I noticed the guys were all over at Heinz’s patio.

She was working on her cross stitch project and it looks beautiful.

We decided to sit outside in the sunshine. After a few minutes Linda, Cathy, Irene and Jan joined us. We sat there talking until the sun went down and became too cool to sit outside.

The guys were also breaking up so we went home. I made some noodles and warmed the chicken, sliced some herb bread and that was dinner.

Today we were to pick up E&M to go over to Mexico. Joyce and Roger were suppose to go but declined because Joyce was not feeling well.

We picked them up at 10am and the weather was quite nice. No sun but about 65 degrees. We walked to the eye glass place to have Marilyn glasses adjusted, then crossed the street to the Red Snapper.

We all had lunch and drinks and enjoyed each others company. It really started to get busy as we were leaving, we beat the crowds.

While we were walking back to the border the wind came and with it cold wet air. We were not dressed for this and we were very cold getting back to the truck. When we dropped E&M at their rig it was 49 degrees.

We are home now and the fireplace is going and we are enjoying our time together.

We warmed things from the refrigerator for a lite dinner and watched movies.

Hope you have a wonderful day and evening.

Well if it gets as cold down there as it is here you will need some heavy coats believe me. We are setting here in 19 degree weather this morning and wishing we were your neighbors.
