Here is the modification we made to the truck so the boys have a nice place while we are traveling:
Before
With the seats up
Metal pulls out for storage
Four totes stored
The board cut to fit and covered with 3" foam then covered with a plastic table cloth type material and stapled underneath
With the board setting on top of the totes the space is complete.
We will put their pillows and cover loose with some material, that way I can wash it.
Even a little storage underneath

Great job on the back seat modification....if you made a pillow slip of material it wouldn't slip around and you would be able to remove it to wash it when ever you wanted. Safe and Happy Travels...we will look forward to seeing you guys at "Gathering of Dreamers" in Kerrville.
Are you still able to have them anchored in their safety belt harnesses to the seat belts ? Would love to see pictures of them in their new seats. I bet they love it, being higher up and able to see the world go by.
