We did our usual routine of having coffee while computering this morning.
About 9:30 I left and went to JC Penney and Walmart to pick up a few things for my trip. I was back home by noon, ate a sandwich and we were off to Mexico to get my glasses.
It was misting the whole time we were over there so it was a pretty damp trip not to mention humid. When I got there they found someone to translate to me that I couldn’t use the frames I chose because the angle of the lens would not allow me to see clearly.
I had to pick out new frames and wait 30 minutes for them to remake the lens. Now I can see, but the area to read is so small, and I am really struggling.
After we retuned home, we walked down to Jan’s house. She requested some assistance in getting her digital photo frame working.
When we got there she told us she had figured it out, but that she was glad we had stopped down. She had came by our place when we were gone to Mexico to invite us to dinner.
It seems she had been trying out some new recipes and needed some “test subjects” to try them on. She had also invited Ed and Marilyn. We accepted and were asked to arrive at 5PM.
We went home and fed the boys and Jesse walked them, before returning for dinner.
Jan lives in a park model that is very warm and roomy. We sat and visited over appetizers and wine.
She had made a Potato Frittata, salad and home made bread. For dessert she made a lemon meringue pie. The meal was delicious and the company was outstanding.
After dinner we all sat listening to stories being told mostly by Ed and Marilyn and laughed so much that my stomach hurt.
It was a very enjoyable evening being with good friends and laughing.
Sherri and I are back at Tawakoni with no friends...so it was good to read about you having fun...Don't cry too hard for us we will manage...LOL
I hope you can do ok with the glasses. There is nothing worse than not being able to read because the glasses don't fit, the prescription isn't right, or whatever.
